How to join CrystalSMP

Choose your edition below. Java and Bedrock use different connection details.

PC, macOS and Linux

Java Edition

Use the main address. Minecraft automatically connects through the protected Java endpoint on the default port.

    Open Multiplayer

    Launch Minecraft: Java Edition, then select Multiplayer.

    Add the server

    Select Add Server. Enter CrystalSMP as the name and crystalsmp.us as the address.

    Connect

    Save the entry and select Join Server. Version 1.21.11 provides the closest match to the server.

Windows, Android and iOS

Bedrock Edition

Bedrock uses its own hostname and UDP port. Sign in with a Microsoft account and use a supported release, not Preview or Beta.

    Open the server list

    Choose Play, open the Servers tab, then select Add Server.

    Enter both values

    Use bedrock.crystalsmp.us as the server address and 19132 as the port.

    Join CrystalSMP

    Save the entry and connect. Your Bedrock account is handled separately from Java accounts.

Playing on a console? Vanilla Bedrock on Xbox, PlayStation and Switch does not provide the same custom-server field. Contact support for the currently supported options before changing DNS or installing third-party tools.

Accounts, controls and voice

Everyone plays on the same Java survival server. Some controls and item visuals differ on Bedrock and older clients.

Java 1.21.11 is our reference version. Older supported Java clients use protocol translation; this does not bring back their old combat rules or guarantee identical menus.

    Link the right account

    Use the Verify button in Discord's mc-verify channel and choose Java or Bedrock. Enter your Java username or normal Xbox gamertag; Bedrock players do not need to add a dot or replace spaces. Run the private code in game. Already linked to the wrong account? Open a support ticket for an ownership review and owner-approved reset.

    Bedrock controls

    Use /geyser offhand to move a supported item to your offhand. Inventory menus may look different from Java. Report a broken action with a screenshot and the item involved.

    Voice chat

    Java players need the Simple Voice Chat mod for their Minecraft version. It does not run directly in Bedrock. Bedrock players can use our Discord voice channels instead.

Connection help

Still not connecting?

Check your edition's address, restart Minecraft after an update and confirm that your Microsoft account allows multiplayer. A new Minecraft release may need a server compatibility update first.

For "Session ended", "End of stream" or a protocol error, send support your edition, exact version, device, connection time with timezone and a screenshot. Do not send passwords or verification codes.
